Holiday Recipe Linky Party

Wow, I’ve been busy!

I’m linking up with First Grade and Fabulous‘ Holiday Recipe Linky Party. This is one of my favorites and always requested when we’re having a potluck. I hope you enjoy it:)

Corn Casserole

1 can Whole Kernel Corn (white or yellow, your choice)
1 can Creamed Corn
1/2 to 1 box Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix (your preference for consistency) (I use one box)
1/3 cup Milk
1 Egg
1/2 stick Butter
1/2 cup Sugar

Drain Whole Kernel Corn. Mix everything together in large bowl. Pour into 8×8 pan, pie plate or small casserole dish. Bake about 45 minutes at 350 degrees until firm and golden brown. Can be doubled or tripled. If you use a deeper dish you will need to add to the cooking time.

Join the fun & add you family favorites!

I love Groundhog Day! My students always get so excited when we read a story about Phil, make predictions, and then watch the news video online to check if he sees his shadow. I made this graphing activity to use with my class, I hope you have fun with your class too. February 2nd is right around the corner!

You can download it free from my TpT store or my Teachers Notebook shop. Enjoy!

I Scream, You Scream…

What would summer be, or any time of year for that matter, without ice cream! July is National Ice Cream Month, designated by President Ronald Reagan in 1984. National Ice Cream Day is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday in July.

How will you be celebrating?

I made this calendar set to enjoy one of my favorite treats all year long.

Ever wonder just how your favorite ice cream is made? Check out this article on How Things Work to find out:

Are you traveling this summer? Be sure to stop by one of these famous ice cream factories for a tour, and maybe a sample too!

Looking for something fun to do with the kids? Make your own ice cream in a bag; chemistry has never been this fun or yummy!
