    1. Hi Amy,
Last year was the first time I read this to my class, they loved it! We made Jitter Juice too 🙂

  1. I like to read The Crayon Box that Talked By Shane DeRolf. I like this book because it allows me to introduce them into a lesson about hurt feelings and how words hurt etc. I also talk about how classroom is like a Crayon Box and we need to work together be a happy family. 🙂

  2. I will be reading “Miss Nelson is Missing” to my third grade students. Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway! Congratulations on achieving 500 followers. I’m your newest follower on Bloglovin’.
    Thanks,

  3. A book I love to read to my kiddos is “Ordinary Oscar” by Laura Adkins, about a snail who wants to be anything but ordinary. It’s really cute – and teaches the kiddos a good lesson about the value of being themselves.

  4. First Day Jitters. I also like to read Scaredy Squirrel, The Recess Queen, Officer Buckle and Gloria, Chrysanthemum, and Enemy Pie.

  5. I haven’t read this one to my class before, but this year I’m going with There by Marie-Louise Fitzpatrick. It’s about a child who is wondering about the future and what things will be like. In the end, she decides she’ll go there tomorrow because she has a lot to do today. I’m going to use it for talking about short and long term goals.

  6. I havent started school yet it would be the 19th…but as I was prepping I did peek at Tales of a 4th grade nothing and laughed I did a theme lesson last school year in 4th…GREAT!!!
